Jimmy quickly spotted inefficiencies regarding the Ministry of Education of Palau's mobile device management. By uncovering pain points in the distribution process, Jimmy was able to devise a plan to better manage over 2000 student devices.
Jimmy worked with the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Palau to recommend solutions for the distribution and management of student tablets. Jimmy implemented Google Workspace to enable core features such as Gmail, Drive, Docs and Groups as well as a Mobile Device Management feature which includes a permitted app list for student-owned devices, restricted school-appropriate web filtering and a device inventory to view all devices with a student account. This solution is expected to reduce the time to update the devices, reduce data errors in tracking devices and minimize student distraction and unauthorized downloads.
