Alondra worked with the Finance Department of SENATI to create a Power BI dashboard showing student enrollment trends, dropout rates and their tuition payment status. This allowed for improved financial forecasting with a clearer view of yearly enrollment changes. She also created a Power BI dashboard for budgeting; showing income by category, costs, operating results and net operating cost.

SENATI is Peru’s leading technical and vocational training institute headquartered in Lima and operating 64 campuses across the country. Within SENATI’s headquarters, the Finance Department maintains SENATI’s financial health. Student tuition is a key source of income, so understanding enrollment and dropout trends is essential information. To aid in this, a Power BI dashboard was developed, allowing the Finance team to track this information and trends over time. The Finance Department at SENATI consolidates data from multiple sub-departments, each in a different format. The lack of a standardized report made for a time-consuming data consolidation process. To address this, the data-to-insight process was transition from Excel to Power BI, enabling faster data consolidation, reduced manual effort, and freeing up Finance team time to focus on analysis and strategic decision-making rather than repetitive reporting tasks.
